Introduction

Many programs are written in OO (Object Oriented) languages, such as Java, C# and C++. Learning about OO before writing programs is important in order to write good OO programs - not just using it.

Objects are, as the name suggests, a central concept in Object Orientation. This presentation introduces objects.

Purpose

Introducing the student to objects

Getting the student familiar with what an object consists of (Data/attributes and Functionality/operations).

Goal

The student shall have a basic understanding of what Object Orientation is.

The student shall be able to understand and explain an object.
