mkdir - make directories.

Description

The mkdir (make directory) command exists in Unix, DOS, O/2 and various Microsoft Windows operating systems (and actually also in the PHP scripting language. As the name suggests, it is used to crate a new directory in the file system. On ssome platforms, (Windows, DOS and OS/2), the command is simply md.
